- Key Features
  • Client-side encryption
  • Zero plain-text architecture
  • File & folder attachments
  • Auto-save functionality
  • AES-256-GCM encryption
  • Responsive layout

With SecureNotes, users can edit note texts directly in the browser, and attach additional files or entire folders to each note archive. The full zip payload is encrypted in the browser before upload, and archives are decrypted locally in the browser when opened.

SecureNotes

The application requires a Master Password, which is utilized for PBKDF2-SHA256 and AES-256-GCM algorithms. No plaintext note content or encryption password is ever sent to the backend, ensuring full protection even if the server is compromised.

Additionally, the system prevents accidental data loss during navigation. Switching between notes or opening settings automatically saves the current note first, ensuring users are never silently left with unsaved changes when switching context.
