The application allows teams to easily manage and govern access to sensitive information. A granular, per-entry access control list ensures that secrets are kept private by default, but can be seamlessly shared with specific individuals or made available to the entire team when needed.

Users who encounter a restricted entry can utilize the built-in workflow to request access. This action generates a notification for the entry owner, who can then approve or decline the request directly from their dashboard, streamlining team collaboration without compromising security.

To maintain accountability, Shared Passwords features a comprehensive change history system. Every creation or update operation appends a snapshot to the entry's history, providing a transparent, read-only audit trail of every version.
